Description
Bypass overthinking and Reclaim the power that was taken from you
For centuries, drumming belonged to women â until it was systematically taken away along with our spiritual authority and leadership.
Itâs time we took it back.
From Overthinking to Embodied Knowing
Youâre exhausted from analysing everything. Seeking advice, reading books, trying to think your way to clarity. Your mind spins while your body holds answers you canât access.
What if there was a simple way to quiet mental chatter and connect with what you actually know?
Drumming bypasses the endless thinking. Within minutes, the rhythm shifts your brainwaves, drops you into your body, and opens the channel to inner wisdom that words canât reach. Itâs not about becoming âgood at drummingâ â itâs about remembering a language your body already speaks.
Discover why drumming is one of the most powerful (and overlooked) tools for womenâs wellbeing & empowerment

- In this workshop, youâll discover:
- Why drumming was deliberately removed from womenâs hands (and why that matters now)
- How drumming bypasses mental chatter and connects you directly to inner wisdom
- The science proving drumming reduces stress, shifts consciousness, and supports wellbeing
- Simple ways to start a drumming practice â even if you think youâre ânot musicalâ
- How 5 minutes of daily drumming can transform your relationship with yourself
This is for you if
- Youâre tired of looking outside yourself for answers
- You feel disconnected from your body and intuition
- Youâre drawn to drumming but donât know where to start
- You want practices that access wisdom without endless meditation
- Youâre tired of looking outside yourself for answers

What youâll leave with:
- Understanding of drummingâs power for women specifically
- Practical ways to begin (or deepen) your drumming practice
- Permission to make noise and take up space
- Connection with other women exploring this path
No drum required â just curiosity and willingness to explore something ancient that our culture forgot.
Why This Matters Now
For centuries, drumming belonged to women â until it was systematically stripped away along with our spiritual authority and public voice. The drums went silent in womenâs hands not by accident, but by design.
This workshop isnât just about learning a technique. Itâs an act of reclamation. When you pick up a drum, youâre reconnecting with a lineage that predates the suppression. Youâre remembering that your voice â spoken, sung, or drummed â has always belonged to you.
We have the right to make noise. We have the right to take up space. We have the right to access our power through sound.
This is your invitation to remember.
About me

I bridge worlds that donât usually meet â I have a PhD in reproductive physiology and 20 years of research experience. I left the lab over 12 years ago ago to become a doula and birth educator.
During my years supporting women through birth, I kept witnessing the same thing: women being told they couldnât trust their bodies, that experts knew better than they did.
Then I discovered drumming. I started drumming for women during pregnancy and birth, and something amazing happened. Drumming helped them reconnect with a deeper knowing.
I researched the neuroscience â how drumming shifts brainwaves, reduces stress, supports wellbeing. I also discovered the hidden history: drumming used to belong to women.
Now I guide women through major life transitions â perimenopause, identity shifts, career changes â and drumming is at the heart of everything, because it offers something uniquely powerful: a way to access your own wisdom without needing an âexpertâ to tell you what to do.
My new book, The Beat of Your Own Drum, brings together the history, the science, and practical guidance for starting your own practice.
This workshop is my invitation to you: to remember what was taken, and to discover why 5 minutes of daily drumming might transform your wellbeing.
