A three-month journey into your full power for holistic practitioners who are ready to stop being in the way of themselves
You became a holistic professional because you felt called to it.
You’ve done the training. You’ve sat with women in their most vulnerable moments. You’ve witnessed transformations that take your breath away. You know, somewhere deep down, that what you do matters.
And yet.
You hesitate before hitting publish. You undercharge and over-deliver. You say yes when you mean no. You go so far above and beyond for your clients that there’s nothing left for you. You give and give and give, because giving feels safe, familiar, righteous even, and receiving feels almost shameful.
You are the world’s best kept secret.
Maybe you’ve built a beautiful practice but you’re terrified to really show it to the world. Maybe you’re sitting on years of training, wisdom, and lived experience, and still waiting for someone to give you permission to claim it.
Maybe you’re brilliant at holding space for others to see their gifts, to integrate their intuition with logic, but unsure whether you’re allowed to do the same for yourself. Whether the woo and the rational can really coexist. Whether someone like you, who talks about ceremony and the body’s wisdom will be taken seriously.
The imposter syndrome whispers that there are better people out there. More qualified. More confident. More everything.
So you do more training, but the issue continues. You scrabble trying on one “magic” tool after another hoping it will fix it. But the thing is, you could get 3 PhDs in holistic practises and still not feel ready.
What’s harder for you to see, because it’s so close, so woven into how you move through the world, is that underneath all of it is one core belief, running quietly like a programme in the background:
I am not enough.
Here’s what I want you to know.
That pattern is not the truth about you. It’s the armour you built to survive in a world that has always been more comfortable with women who make themselves small.
And it can change.
Your story is a bit like if you’re climbing a mountain: instead of enjoying the hike, all you focus on is the summit. Only when you reach the top, instead of feeling elated, of feeling a sense of accomplishment, of achievement, of basking in the feat you have just accomplished, you see that, behind the mountain you just climbed, there is another, bigger mountain, and all you can focus on is this.
How this can help you
You long for the day you wake up and feel like enough, not because you’ve finally achieved something, but just because you are.
You long to stop looking at other women’s work and feeling that quiet ache of why can’t I do that, be that, have that. To be able to celebrate without comparing. To witness without diminishing yourself.
You long to give from fullness rather than from the last reserves of something you’re trying to protect. To have something left at the end of the day, for yourself, and for the people you love.
You long to feel genuinely proud of what you do. Not in a way you’d have to justify or qualify or shrink down before saying out loud. Just proud.
You long to stop striving. To be able to land in a moment, a conversation, a session, an ordinary yet extraordinary day, and feel it rather than already be mentally reaching for the next thing you need to prove.
You long to see yourself the way your clients see you, to look in the mirror and see what they see.
You long to feel that your work, this unusual, beautiful, hard to explain work you have been called to do, is not just valid but needed. That the world is genuinely better because you showed up in it the way only you can.
You long, more than anything, to stop having to earn your place.
“Sophie helped me realize I could be both an intellectual AND embrace my spiritual side.
I went from doubting myself to teaching drumming workshops!”
Melanie W, former academic
What shifts, and what becomes possible
Three months later, something has shifted. Not in an overnight transformation kind of way.
You know yourself differently now. Not perfectly, but honestly. You’ve stopped waiting for the magic formula that was going to fix everything, because you’ve understood something more useful: there was never anything to fix. There was only something to uncover.
You know your strengths, not as a list you recite to sound confident, but as something you’ve felt in your body, witnessed in your work, recognised in the way other people respond to you. You know your gifts. Even the ones that felt embarrassing to claim.
You feel quietly confident in a way that doesn’t need an audience. It doesn’t collapse when someone doesn’t respond to your post, or when a client says no, or when you have a slow month. It’s just there, a steadiness underneath everything.
And sometimes, that inner shift happens faster than you’d expect. I have watched women do things they had been putting off for years after just one or two sessions together. Not because I handed them a formula, but because once the inner obstacle moves, the outer movement becomes inevitable.
Here is what that has looked like in practice:
Academic turned doula: from “too woo for me” to leading drumming workshops. Mel had been talking herself out of a drum making workshop for longer than she could remember. Too woo. Not serious enough. Not her. Except it was entirely her, and somewhere she knew it. She went. She made her drum. She now leads her own drumming and singing workshops.
Massage therapist: from invisible genius to thriving practice. Claire created an entirely new technique, genuinely groundbreaking work that was transforming her clients’ lives. And yet she couldn’t see how to share it. She thought the answer was better marketing. It wasn’t. The answer was her, fully inhabiting what she had created. She now has a thriving practice and is training other practitioners in her method.
Osteopath: from burnout to boundaries. Victoria was exhausted and overworked. We didn’t fix her marketing copy, even though that was what she came to me for. We got honest about what she actually wanted her work to look like. She changed the entire shape of her practice, and the clients followed naturally.
Midwife : From comparison to claiming her own voice. Nicola had been sitting on a book for years. When someone more famous published on a similar topic, she was ready to abandon it entirely. She didn’t. Her proposal is now with a publisher.
Doula: From giving too much to receiving what she deserves. Liz was doing postnatal work she didn’t enjoy, feeling taken advantage of, and undercharging to the point of struggling to make ends meet. She now has clear boundaries, a pricing structure she can share without flinching, and work she recognises as her own again. She went from feeling depleted and invisible to feeling genuinely valued not because her clients changed, but because she did.
Womb healer: From doubt about her gifts to revelation. Trudi had gifts she couldn’t fully see. She knew her connection to the drum was real, but real enough to share? That she wasn’t sure of. One session was enough to find the root of that doubt and move it. She left both fired up and at peace, carrying something she described as a revelation: her heart connection to the drum isn’t just enough. It’s more than enough.
What these women had in common was not a lack of skill, talent, or strategy. They had a version of themselves standing in their own way. Once that shifted, everything else moved.
“I nearly convinced myself the world didn’t need my book. Sophie convinced me otherwise, not with reassurance, but by helping me see what I actually had to say. I have now contacted a publisher”
Nicola W, midwife
So what might become possible for you?
Maybe it’s finally writing that book proposal that’s been living in a notebook for two years. Maybe it’s launching the programme you’ve been quietly designing but never quite believed people would pay for. Maybe it’s raising your prices without your stomach dropping. Maybe it’s building the practice you actually dreamed of when you trained, rather than the one that felt safe enough to show the world.
Maybe it’s something more personal: waking up on a Monday and feeling genuinely glad to do the work you do. Going home after a session with energy still left in you. Receiving a compliment without deflecting it.
The outer results are real, and they matter. But underneath them is something more foundational: a woman who has stopped waiting for permission, stopped shrinking to fit, and started showing up as the full, unusual, irreplaceable person she actually is.
You don’t need to be someone else. Not the louder version. Not the more qualified version. Not the version who has it all figured out and never doubts herself.
Just this. Just you.
How we work together
How we work together
This is not coaching or mentoring in the conventional sense. What I offer is a blend of deep embodied listening, intuitive knowing, and energy healing. What I do is harder to describe, and more powerful in practice.
What this is not
A framework to fill in
A content calendar or visibility strategy
Symptom-fixing while the root cause quietly continues running the show
What I bring
Deep embodied listening I listen not just to what you’re saying but to what’s underneath it: the hesitation before you speak, the way your energy shifts when we touch something real, the thing you almost said and then didn’t. I have spent years developing a quality of psychic and channelled listening that can sense what’s stuck before you’ve found the words for it.
Intuitive energy perception I have always been able to feel energy and the real issue behind what’s bothering someone, even when they cannot see it themselves. I can sense when someone has something held in a particular area of their body, even on Zoom, even with someone I have never met before. Recently, a woman mentioned her hip was hurting; I could immediately sense which hip and exactly where. In another session, with someone completely new to me, I knew she had had a hysterectomy before she said a word about it.
Getting to the root Not the surface story (“I’m bad at marketing, I don’t know what to post, I can’t charge what I’m worth”) but what’s actually underneath it. The belief that has been running quietly for decades. The moment it was formed. The part of you that decided, somewhere along the way, that it wasn’t safe to be fully seen.
Working with the body as much as the mind Stuckness isn’t just a thought. It lives energetically in the body, and it shifts, often incredibly quickly, when you meet it there. Sometimes that means embodiment or energy work. Sometimes it means drumming. Sometimes it means a single question that lets something true finally surface.
Science and spirit I bring something genuinely rare to this work: a lifetime at the intersection of science and spirit. I understand the neuroscience of why you’re stuck. I also understand the spiritual wisdom of how to move through it. Neither is ever left at the door.
I won’t hand you a framework and ask you to fill in the boxes. I won’t give you a content calendar and tell you to show up consistently. I won’t treat the symptoms while the root cause quietly continues running the show.
That is the work.
“Every woman needs extraordinary women around them to feel safe, thrive and grow to do extraordinary! Without a doubt Sophie is one of these “I have your back” gem of a woman I choose to have in my life! Sophie is very holding, supportive and empathetic. I found her very knowledgeable in the field of self development and growth. She gave me courage, confidence and reassurance in the field I was exploring with her”.
Claire G, Massage therapist
Who this work is for
This is for you if
You are a woman doing deep, transformative, hard-to-explain work in the world, as a healer, practitioner, therapist, doula, coach, or guide, and you know, somewhere underneath the doubt, that what you do genuinely matters
You have training, experience, and wisdom that you are not yet fully claiming, and part of you is tired of waiting until you feel ready enough You have tried to fix the outer things (the marketing, the pricing, the visibility) and found that something deeper keeps pulling you back to the same patterns
You are ready to be seen, not just supported, but truly witnessed, in a way that goes beyond strategy and into the root of what’s actually running the show
You are open to working with both the rational and the intuitive, the mind and the body, because you already sense that the answers you’re looking for live somewhere in between
You are done being your own worst obstacle
This might not be for you if:
You are looking for a marketing formula, a content plan, or a step-by-step business strategy, that is not what I offer, and there are excellent people who offer exactly that
You want someone to tell you what to do. This work asks you to go inward, and that requires a genuine willingness to be honest with yourself
You are in acute crisis or need mental health support. This work is powerful but it is not therapy, and I will always say so if I feel a different kind of support would serve you better
You are not quite ready to invest in yourself at this level, financially or energetically, and that’s genuinely okay. The right time matters
You are looking for quick fixes or overnight transformation. What shifts here shifts deeply and lastingly, but it asks something of you in return
About me
I have a PhD in reproductive physiology. I spent twenty years as a research scientist. And then I walked away from all of it to follow something I couldn’t quite explain, a pull towards one of the biggest rites of passages: Birth. I worked as an antenatal educator and doula for over 10 years. I published a book about postnatal recovery. Then my work started to pull me toward energy work, toward ritual, toward ceremony, toward the drum, toward the ancient wisdom of women’s bodies and the rhythms that hold them. I now work as a guide for women who want to integrate the whole of themselves into their work.
I have a powerful, fierce and catalytic energy
I know what it is to stand in two worlds and feel like you don’t fully belong to either.
I know what it is to have a voice that doesn’t fit neatly into a box, too scientific for spiritual people, too spiritual for scientists. To wonder whether the thing you’re being called to do is too strange, too niche, too youto ever really work.
I know what it is like to over-deliver, undercharge, and go home exhausted wondering why you feel so invisible when you give so much (I experienced burnout several times because of this). I consider myself a recovery workaholic.
I found my way through. Not by becoming someone else, but by becoming more fully myself. By learning to trust the combination of gifts I carry rather than apologising for them. By discovering that the very things I thought made me too much or not enough were actually the most potent things I had to offer.
And now I walk alongside women like you.
Women who are doing deep, transformative, important, hard-to-explain work in the world. Women who have trained for years, who hold others with extraordinary care, who know things in their bones that they struggle to put into words. Women who are, quietly and persistently, their own worst obstacle.
I offer three months of one-to-one mentoring that is unlike most business coaching you’ll have encountered. We don’t just talk strategy though we may do that too. We go into the deeper territory. The stories you’re telling yourself about your worth. The patterns running underneath your pricing, your visibility, your relationship with receiving. The gifts you’ve been dimming because you weren’t sure the world was ready for them.
We work with your whole self, the rational and the spiritual, the giver and the one who needs to learn to receive, the woman you’ve been and the one you’re becoming.
Because the most powerful thing I can help you do is not fix your marketing, or promise you too good to be true results if you follow my “magic” recipe.
It’s to help you stop being in the way of yourself.
“Your armor is preventing you from growing into your gifts. I understand that you needed these protections when you were small. I understand that you believed your armor could help you secure all of the things you needed to feel worthy of love and belonging, but you’re still searching and you’re more lost than ever.
Time is growing short. There are unexplored adventures ahead of you. You can’t live the rest of your life worried about what other people think. You were born worthy of love and belonging. Courage and daring are coursing through you. You were made to live and love with your whole heart. It’s time to show up and be seen”
Brene Brown
“I am so grateful to Sophie for, in a short space of time, really helping me to get to the root of my blocks around the drum and magically shifting them toward the gifts they wanted to show me. I left the call instantly, fired up, positive and at peace with myself. I guess the one thing i would take away is simply that I am enough, that my heart connection to the drum is enough. In fact, its MORE than enough its medicine that needs to be shared!”
